Indonesian citizen born on July 29, 1930. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Economics Faculty, Universitas Krisna Dwipayana, Jakarta in 1970. At the beginning of his military career, he attended the Koninklijk Ins. V/d Marine Academy in the Netherlands (1950-1953), the Air Navigator’s School also in the Netherlands (1953-1954), and continued to attend flight training at the Royal Air Force Pilot Training and Command Staff Training in England (1954-1956 and 1963).
AHK “Met” Hamami was appointed as Chairman of the Tiara Marga Trakindo Group since 2001 to the present. He has also served concurrently as the President Commissioner of the Company since 2005.
From 2001-2008, AHK “Met” Hamami served as President Commissioner of PT Trakindo Utama, then in 2008 until the present became a Commissioner of the same Company
Prior to establishing PT Trakindo Utama in 1970, he had a career in the Navy with his last post in 1967 as the Vice Director for Operations, Department of Defence. In the same year, he started his private career and was employed as a Director at Indoconsult Associates until 1970.
In 1970, he established his first company, PT Trakindo Utama, which solely distributed Caterpillar heavy equipment. He continued to expand PT Trakindo Utama until 2001 with his last post as President Director.
